In response to the status. At your request I had submitted our remediation plan June 10th with product
information and technique. That was the last I heard about it until now. We have not received a "proceed"
"Needs altering" " Denial " or further input. So with that being said we have not proceeded. We also have not
acquired further financial support from the responsible party. We had contacted him when sending the plan to
your office but have had no contact since.

Hello Ms. Beverly,
As you know we have been trying to remediate a diesel spill at 6777 Mt. Pleasant Rd. in Concord. This has
proven to be a difficult excavation site. The unknown location of the sewage leach field being of a major
concern. We did dig and haul just short of 8 tons of contaminated soil. The lab results came back with one
sample being Non Detectable and another being just over allowable limits. The septic system has constant flow
into the yard making for burdensome digging. I am purposing an alternate method of remediation. I am
suggesting the use of Enzymes to consume the remaining fuel. The product we use is BioRem 2000 which is
listed the EPA's National Contingency Plan Product Schedule and Approved by the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection.
I would apply the product to the affected area then turn the soil to approximately 6 inch depth and re -apply. We have had
amazing results with this method in difficult areas.
I have attached the SIDS and a few current spill site pictures where no excavation was used. 100 + gallons of heating oil spill in
a soggy yard in Greensboro. Several treatments and Lab samples came back Non Detectable.
