The remaining documentation of our public notice actions is enclosed, to document the necessary
steps to begin the public notice period yesterday, November 20. The documentation includes:
· Transmittal letters for sending the full Notice of Intent to the City and County managers,
with FedEx mailing and delivery receipts
· Certified Mail receipts for mailing of the SNI to contiguous property owners
· A signed acknowledgment of hand delivery of the full Notice of Intent to the Mecklenburg
County Main Library, Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room

I’m sending this note so that we will have dated correspondence confirming that the Summary
Notice of Intent was posted at the Gathings Motor Company Brownfields Property today, November
20. Several photos of the sign where it was posted along West Carson Blvd. are attached.

A scanned copy of the Summary Notice of Intent published in today’s Charlotte Observer is also
attached. We will forward the affidavit of publication when we receive it.

Finally, the required notices to local government offices and contiguous property owners were also
sent today, and a copy of the complete Notice of Intent with attachments was delivered to the
Mecklenburg County Main Library for public availability. We will forward documentation of those
notices in the near future.
