NPDES Permit NC0005274

Dear Mr. Roberts:
Division of Water Resources staff have reviewed your April 2, 2019 letter. You indicated in the
letter that additional time is needed to monitor the consolidated wastewaters as required in
your NPDES permit and, upon verifying compliance with the effluent limitations, discharge the
wastewaters via Outfall 001. And you requested an additional 60 days beyond the May 3
deadline to complete those activities.
The Division approves your request and hereby extends the deadline for action to 5:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, July 2, 2019. All other terms of my January 28, 2019 letter to Tom McKittrick remain in
effect as do the terms and conditions of permit NC0005274. In addition, Ryan Ford has agreed
that the wastewaters will be monitored for volatile organic compounds and the results provided
to the Division prior to discharge.
Feel free to contact me at 919-707-3603 or mike.templeton@ncdenr.gov if you have any
questions regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
Michael E. Templeton, P.E.
Environmental Engineer
