Dear Patrick:
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields Program received
the Final Grade Sampling Results report revision dated May 7, 2019 (Report). These final grade
sampling results were collected as required by Land Use Restriction (LUR) 5 of the Notice of
Brownfield Property (NBP). DEQ Brownfields evaluated the final grade soil sample analytical
data included in the Report using the DEQ Risk Calculator. The results of this evaluation were
below the DEQ thresholds for non-residential use. Therefore, the Brownfields Property is currently
in compliance with LUR 5 of the NBP.
Please be advised that this approval from DEQ Brownfields does not waive any applicable
requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications which may be required from
