SUMMIT ENGINEERING, LABORATORY & TESTING, P.C. (SUMMIT) is pleased to submit the
results of the Quarterly Sub -Slab Pressure Monitoring, conducted in the commercial building
constructed at 1517 E. Inns Street, Salisbury, North Carolina. This monitoring event was conducted
in accordance with the approved Vapor Mitigation Plan (VMP), prepared by SUMMIT, dated June
6, 2017.
As outlined in Section B, paragraph 2 of the VMP, and in accordance with Land Use Restrictions
(LURs), Pressure readings shall be recorded quarterly utilizing the installed pressure monitoring
points and a micromanometer. The next readings will be recorded on or before December 31,
2018.
The site building consists of five (5) commercial spaces. At the time of this monitoring event, four
(4) of the units were occupied. A central unit was vacant and unfinished and awaiting concrete slab
installation. The southern unit was occupied by a Chipotle restaurant. The northern unit was occupied
by a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, while a central unit was occupied by a Pilot Physical Therapy.

be viewed on the attached Site Plan document.
August 31, 2018 Monitoring Event
The weather during the monitoring event was clear and mild, 81' F with 65 % humidity, 0-1 mph
variable direction winds. Barometric pressure was not recorded during this event, however weather
stations near the site recorded an average 30.2 inches of mercury on August 31, 2018.

Pressure readings are recorded in Inches of Water
Findings and Recommendations
Pressure readings indicate that sub -slab depressurization is occurring as a result of the installed sub -
slab depressurization system. Negative pressure readings from the front portion of the Buffalo Wild
Wings unit did not achieve the depressurization goal of -0.02 inches of water at the time of this
monitoring event.
SUMMIT recommends continued quarterly pressure monitoring of the site. SUMMIT expects
reading to exceed the depressurization goal once construction of the commercial building is
completed and the full concrete slab is in place.
