Terracon Consultants, Inc. (Terracon) mobilized to the site on January 30, 2012 to observe concrete slab
rubblization activities for potential environmental concerns in accordance with the Risk Management Plan (RMP)
for the site.
Terracon monitored particulate concentrations upwind and downwind of the rubblizing activities using a Casella
Microdust Pro aerosol monitor. No detectable particulate concentrations were observed in the upwind or
downwind readings during our site visit.
A copy of our field data sheet is attached.
We have noted that the contractor appears to be covering the rubblized slab areas with plastic sheeting on a daily
basis.

Terracon Consultants, Inc. (Terracon) mobilized to the site on February 1, 2012 to observe concrete slab
rubblization activities for potential environmental concerns in accordance with the Risk Management Plan (RMP)
for the site.
Terracon monitored particulate concentrations upwind and downwind of the rubblizing activities using a Casella
Microdust Pro aerosol monitor. The upwind and downwind concentrations ranged from 0.001 milligrams per cubic
meter (mg/m³) to 0.104 mg/m³. Since downwind concentrations were observed to be less than three times upwind
concentrations, airborne particulates leaving the site does not appear to represent a potential environmental
concern at this time.
A copy of our field data sheet is attached.
We have noted that the contractor appears to be covering the rubblized slab areas with plastic sheeting on a daily
basis.
Terracon also observed the contractor relocating several drums and plastic bags of soil auger cuttings to the
northern corner of the site so that the rubblizing contractor could continue work in the area. We understand the
auger cuttings were derived from recent drilling activities by others at the site.

Terracon Consultants, Inc. (Terracon) mobilized to the site on February 6, 2012 to observe concrete slab
rubblization activities for potential environmental concerns in accordance with the Risk Management Plan (RMP)
for the site.
Terracon monitored particulate concentrations upwind and downwind of the rubblizing activities using a Casella
Microdust Pro aerosol monitor. The upwind and downwind concentrations ranged from 0.008 milligrams per cubic
meter (mg/m³) to non-detectable (0.000 mg/m³). Since downwind concentrations were observed to be less than
three times upwind concentrations, airborne particulates leaving the site does not appear to represent a potential
environmental concern at this time.
A copy of our field data sheet is attached.
We also observed that the contractor appears to be covering the rubblized slab areas with plastic sheeting on a
daily basis.
