Hey Bill—just wanted to verify before going forward with field work at the Chemstreams site: we
plan on collecting 2 indoor air samples (8-hour sampling interval) from the existing warehouse and
sampling for VOCs by Method TO-15.
That will satisfy the DEQ requirements, correct?

Laura,
The DEQ has reviewed the draft EMP submitted on February 21 and is providing comments in the
attached file. As noted in the draft EMP, a vapor mitigation system will be required for the new
building proposed for the brownfields property. The attached Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System
(VIMS) Design Submittal New Construction Minimum Requirements Checklist is being provided for
your reference in preparing the VIMS design submittal.

Please return a revised copy of the EMP for signature and let me know if you have any questions or
comments.
