It was recorded at the Mecklenburg County Register of Deeds in Book 30150, Pages 506-549 and associated Plat Map Book 58, Page 91. The Notice states the following approved redevelopment uses: industrial, office, retail, multi- family residential, and, if DEQ issues prior written approval, other commercial uses. This letter is in response to your email correspondence date November 23, 2015 and December 22, 2015 requesting clarification for the land use on the brownfields property. Redevelopment plans for your client’s business includes operations involving the lease of modular building products/temporary office buildings, shipping containers, and portable tank products, and an office and IC Maintenance Building for refurbishment of the leased products. The Brownfields Program agrees that this use in acceptable under the current Notice and would be in compliance. Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications for the above listed activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply with applicable law for such activities.
