The site drains into an unnamed tributary of Draft Branch to Grants Creek in the Yadkin River Basin. The site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCG070000. The assistance of Mr. David Frame and Mr. Chris Blackwell and yourself was greatly appreciated during the inspection. Accordingly; the following observations were noted during the inspection: 1 Storm -water Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) Yes X No A SPPP has been developed. Organization of the sections of the plan and documentation for each section would help insure continued compliance. 2) Qualitative Monitoring Yes X No Qualitative monitoring has been conducted and is recorded in accordance with permit requirements. The sediment should be removed regularly from the drainage basin to prevent washing out to the RR tracks_ The vegetation on the slope below the storage area should be replaced with grass and not the shrubs since those require a wet stream bank area for survival. The report should be self-explanatory. Please be advised that violations of the \PDES General Permit are subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation. DWQ may direct the permittee to apply for an individual permit, or may direct the implementation or installation of specific stormwater control measures.
