The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DELMR), received a complete Stormwater Management Permit
Application for the subject project on June 12, 2018. Staff review of the plans and specifications has determined that the
project, as proposed, will comply with the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC 2H.1000 rules. We are
forwarding Permit No. SW3180102 dated June 14, 2018, for the construction, operation and maintenance of the subject
project and the stormwater system. This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be subject to the
conditions and limitations as specified therein, and does not supersede any other agency permit that may be required.
The original signed permit package and approved plans are being mailed to Thom Nguyen at:

I have gone ahead and submitted the calculations and certifications online at the link you provided. What is the best
address to send the hard copies?
Also, please let me know if you need digital copies of anything previously submitted. I'm not 100% sure what's already

According to the soils report, the estimate from the report shows the SHWT at elevation 102 and as you know that is well
above the 1' minimum separation between the lowest point of the system and the SHWT. According to MDC 1 of Sand
Filter, exceptions to the one foot SHWT separation may be made if the applicant provides documentation that the design
will neither float nor drain the water table (allow seepage from the groundwater into the sand filter system).
Please provide flotation calculations and specify that the enclosure will not allow seepage from the groundwater into the
sand filter with both a hard copy and a digital copy submitted to https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW Project Submittal
Also submit the previous documents into this folder if not previously sent digitally.
