Brian and James — Wasn't sure which of you should get these. We got requests for relief from Tier 2 analytical
monitoring from two facilities in the WiRO. It's my understanding that these requests are typically handled by the ROs.
Their copper levels are consistently over benchmarks. I believe, for the most part, they're meeting the benchmarks for
the other parameters.
Would you be able to visit these two facilities and consider whether their request for relief makes sense? If it does, we
can work together on relief language. I'm attaching a letter we sent to a different type of facility a few years ago as an
example.
Also, Mike Lawyer could be a valuable resource for you if you need guidance on evaluating their requests. (Mike —
