Stormwater Narrative
The Holy Spirit Catholic Church is located in Lincoln County, consisting of parcels 51306, 58758, 58766
and 58765. Parcel acreage is 7.76 acres. The overall parcels are split nearly in half, with the eastern
portion of the site located in the WS-IVC watershed, regulated by Lincoln County, NC.The western
portion of the site, consisting of 3.13 acres, is State Stormwater Regulated. One (1) sand filter is
proposed to treat the western portion of the site. In addition, (1) sand filter is proposed to treat the
eastern portion of the site, in review with Lincoln County.
For the State regulated portion, 0.78 acres of impervious existed prior to 7/2007. Existing impervious to
remain is 18,605 sf(0.427 ac). Due to the drainage area,the sand filter water quality treatment volume
has been calculated based on the entire drainage area, sized to treat new and existing impervious.
