Basis for Monitoring Requirements:
Cogentrix submitted a group application for six NC plants. They sampled three of
the six plants. A review of the data for the plants sampled revealed relative high
levels of Total Suspended Solids, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Cadmium, and
Cyanide. Annual monitoring for these parameters with appropriate cutoff
concentrations is recommended
