May 17, 2023 Page 3 of 3 MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR APPROVAL Project Name: TBMNC Building 804 Phase 1 Project ID: RANDO-2023-031 County: Randolph Modifications pursuant to applicable North Carolina General Statutes and/or Regulations: 1. A dominant strategy for erosion control at portions of the overall project involve pumping sediment through a silt bag and this is likely to occur prior to 3-5 days of standard design settling time. It is recommended that polyacrylamides be added to diversion waddles and/or basins when practical. This would maximize the potential for settling of sediment before the pumps/silt bags are utilized. This site must be managed to prevent violations of surface water quality turbidity standards in the receiving streams. 2. Additional measures may be required - The applicant is responsible for the control of sediment on-site. If the approved erosion and sedimentation control measures prove insufficient, the applicant must take those additional steps necessary to stop sediment from leaving this site.
