Timelines Standard: - (Us) Finish Administrative Review(Should be done in the next week or so, I just need to look over the comments before they go out). - (You) Respond to Administrative Review comments (You get up to 30 calendar days to provide us with this info, time varies depending on how long it takes to provide this, you can make multiple submissions within this 30 day window if needed). - (Us) Determine whether to accept the project or return it as administratively incomplete (should take about a week or so after we receive the responses). If the project is returned, you start from square 1. - (Us) Review the project(will not take longer than 90 calendar days). o Review ends in approval or a Request for Additional Information (most projects need at least 1 Request for Additional Information). Per Division policy, if a project requires 3 Requests for Additional Information, it gets returned. - (You) Respond to Request for Additional Information (You get up to 30 calendar days to provide us with this info, additional time can be requested if warranted, time varies depending on how long it takes to provide this). Go to "Review the project" once we receive the response. - Average review time once accepted for review: 6-8 months (but we do have some in review that have been in review for more than a year). Fast-Track: - Similar review process as above, except we only get 30 calendar days to review it instead of 90 and most projects do not require a Request for Additional Information. - Average review time once accepted for review: 1-2 months. At this time, we are not processing new Standard Applications. We will hold onto the provided application until we resume processing Standard Applications or until July 3, 2023 (90 days after receiving the application), whichever comes first. Your options are as follows: • Withdraw the Standard Application and apply for a permit for this project through the Fast-Track process. NOTE: Please refer to the eligibility requirements outlined in 15A NCAC 02H .1043 (http://reports.oah.state.nc.us/ncac/title%2015a%20-%20environmental%20guaIity/chapter%2002%20- %20environmental%20management/subchapter%20h/15a%20ncac%2002h%20.1043.pdf) and Part A of the Fast-Track ATC Application Form as not all projects are suited to be permitted through the Fast-Track process. • Wait for us to process the application.
