Re: Virginia Foil -Future Sequence Phasing Statement
Mr. Farkas,
This letter is to serve to clarify the future sequence phasing for the Virginia Foil Park project in Mt.
Pleasant,NC. As outlined in the stormwater narrative, this project involves the construction of a new
county park with a library, parking lots, sidewalks, multiple shelters, restrooms, maintenance facility,
softball/baseball and soccer fields, fitness station, walking trail, and a playground.
Utility improvements include new water, electric, fire and sanitary sewer to serve the library, the
multiple shelters, restrooms and maintenance facility. Sanitary Sewer will be extended to connect to the
existing sanitary sewer system located in"C" Street.
Project construction will take place on parcel number 56704401870000, located at 1111 North
Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124 and encompasses±29.11 acres. The current property owner
is Cabarrus County, who will be the financially responsible parry. The area to be disturbed is
approximately±25 acres. This project will be completed in a single phase, and not future development
on this property is anticipated as part of this project or in any current planning for the area.
