Dear Ms. Lewis,
I have received your letter dated .lune 18, 1999 with questions regarding the restrictive
covenants for Whispering Pines Subdivision in Onslow County. I called Pate Phillips, PLS,
to discuss the matter and to inquire of the owner's location. Pate told me that he has not heard
anything from the owner for at least ten years.
Enclosed herein you will find a copy of the covenants for the subdivision. As far as I'can tell,
there is no mention of the impervious areas allowed on each lot, even though the owner (Harold
P. Nunn) so stated on the application. The owner's agreement and signature appear an the
attached sheet

DEED RESTRICTIONS
Whispering Pines Subdivision
Stormwater Project No. SW8 880503
Onslow County
On September 27, 1988, the Wilmington Regional Office issued a Certification of Compliance with Stormwater
Regulations to you for Whispering Pines Subdivision. Per the requirements of the Certification of Compliance with
Stormwater Regulations, the recorded deed restrictions must contain specific language which limits the allowable built -
upon area per lot to 5,625 square feet. A review of our files indicates that a copy of the recorded deed restrictions has
not been received by this Office.
Failure to record the deed restrictions with the required language prior to selling lots is a violation of your
Certification of Compliance with Stormwater Regulations, and subject to enforcement action. Please forward a copy
of the recorded deed restrictions to this Office at the address below by July 18, 1999, or enforcement action may be
initiated and may include recommendations for civil and criminal penalties and revocation of the Certification of
Compliance with Stormwater Regulations.
