Salisbury Street, Office 640E z Raleigh, NC 27604 D Re: Dunn, NC Petco Storm Drainage Narrative Dear Mr. Farkas: We are proposing to construct a 10,900-sf pre-engineered metal building with associated site improvements on the lot addressed as 2540 West Cumberland Street, in Dunn, North Carolina. The improvements to the lot will create an impervious or built upon area (BUA) totaling 48,265 square feet. Our total lot area is 73,050 square feet. We are proposing 63.3% BUA with our development. The stormwater for the BUA in this development is predominantly directed to the parking lot, in which there are curb cuts to collect and direct it to swales. The ultimate destination of this stormwater onsite is to a designed bioretention pond on the northwest corner of the site. The treated runoff will percolate through the soil media to underdrains and be collected in the centrally located outlet structure. The treated runoff and any overflow will be conveyed through a pipe to the ditch along the north side of West Cumberland Road. The ultimate destination of the site drainage is Black River, west of the project site. Thanks so much for your help with this project. Please let me know if any additional information is needed to review our permit application. Sincerely, Brian Kemp Team Leader
