catch basins and drainage swales which flow into three wet
pond SCMs. Water from the wet pond SCMs is pumped back
into the facility's process water system and is used for steel
production. Two outfall locations along a tributary to Long
Creek were observed onsite which receive flow from the SCM
ponds if they overflow during storm events. No stormwater
pollution issues were observed.
Erosion issues
Recommendation
Minor erosion was observed at the overflow area of the west
pond. CMSWS recommends implementing erosion control
measures to help protect water quality.
Structural stormwater control
No
