That approval was for an additional loading bay the south of the existing warehouse and the reduction of the future impervious allocation. This submittal is for another plan revision that incorporates a small modification to the shape of the previously approved parking bay addition and subsequent drainage system. The client wishes to slightly modify the shape of the South parking bay to better facilitate ingress and egress of vehicles and, as a result, there will be an addition of 4,220sf of pavement and reduction of sidewalk by 160sf in that one area. Drainage from this area was permitted to be directed towards the stormwater pond and that will not change. However, instead of the drainage being piped into the existing junction box #13, it will be piped into the existing drop grate #10. There is a slight increase in impervious area (4,060sf) directed towards the storm drainage system with this modification. However, the overall size of drainage basin remains the same. The existing drainage system can handle the small addition of flow. The future allocation for Phase -III was reduced by 4,060sf so that there would be no change to the downstream pond. The pond was permitted to handle 387,915sf of impervious and with the reduction in future BUA, there is no change in the BUA being directed to it. There is also no change to the remainder of the site. The revised areas are shown with revision clouds on the updated plan. We have included the original permitted sheets for consistency. That project was reviewed by Steve G. Pusey of the Wilmington Regional Office of NCDENR. The previous minor modification (6/7/10) included the addition of a small area of parking to the South of the existing building. In order to not modify the existing stormwater pond, the proposed impervious for the site was reallocated such that there would be no additional BUA being directed towards the pond. The allocations being directed toward the existing stormwater pond are shown in the table below. There is no modification to the infiltration trench or drainage basin.
