The berm between the forebay and the permanent pool side has been compromised. It appears as though someone has cut a channel through the berm and placed rock to help control erosion. This is not as the pond was approved and should be repaired and returned to original design. You should also check both basins for depth and remove excessive sediment if required. Both basins look as though sediment needs to be removed. Vegetated shelf has no vegetation due to the extremely dry conditions. You may need to re-establish some vegetation on the shelf if it does not come back naturally when pond levels increase. There are a few areas around the pond where the slopes have lost their vegetation and have eroded slightly. You should re- establish the cover in these areas to prevent severe erosion. Provide pictures of site (insert here: Pond with little or no vegetation on shelf.
