EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION
CONTROL NOTES:
1. Sediment control devices and structures shall be Installed,
maintained and amended as needed to provide effective
control of accelerated sedimentation until the contributing
watersheds are stabilized.
2. Construction Seeusnes:
A. Notify Engineer, Owner and Land Quality Section prior
to beginning construction.
B. Install stabilized construction entrance.
C. Silt fence shall be Installed at edge of clearing limits on all
down dopes prior to Initiation of clearing activities.
Silt fence shall be maintained until the area Is stabilized completely.
D. Excavate stormwater pond and utilize for temparorly sediment storage.
Construct perimeter swde and use as temporary diversion ditch to direct
runoff to stormwater pond.
E. Commence site grading, Place and compact required fill materials.
F. Immediately seed, mulch all disturbed areas not to be paved..
G. Maintain eroelon control moaeures on needed to assure
full functionoblAity.
H. Place CABC over Compacted gubgrade. Install asphalt
surface course.
I. Reseed and mulch shoulders and ditches. Install liners on
all ewdes (and provide ground cover on all exposed slopes.)
J. Seed, fertilize, and mulch all disturbed areas within 15 days
of completing any phase or the grading work.
K. Permanent groundeover for all disturbed areas within 15
working days or no more than 30 calendar days following
completion of construction.
3. Sending Spaciftations
Apply line and fertilizer and work Into 4-6 "se of sob. Seed
mixture shall be distributed uniformly and covered with a dean
straw mulch. All mulch shall be crimped or asphalt todked to help
hold In place. Material and application rates are as folowr.

SEEDBED PREPARATION NOTES,
1. SURFACE WATER CONTROL MEASURES TO BE INSTALLED ACCORDING TO PLAN,
2. AREAS TO BE SEEDED SHALL BE RIPPED AND SPREAD WITH AVAILABLE
TOPSOIL 3' DEEP. TOTAL SEEDBED PREPARATION DEPTH SHALL BE 4'-6' DEEP.
3. LODSE ROCKS, ROOTS AND OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE
SURFACE SO THAT THEY WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT AND
MAINTENANCE OF VEGETATION. SURFACE FOR FINAL SEEDBED PREPARATION,
AT FINISH GRADES SHOWN, SHALL BE REASONABLY SMOOTH AND UNIFORM.
4. IF NO SOIL TEST IS TAKEN, FERTILIZER AND LIME TO BE ACCORDING TO SEEDING

AFTER PERMANENT GROUNDCOVER IS ESTABLISHED, CONTACTOR SHALL DEWATER POND
AND REMOVE ACCUMULATED SEDIMENT AND RESTORE POND TO THE GRADE AND CONTOUR
INDICATED BELOW. ALTERNATELY, THE CONTRACTOR MAY 'OVER -EXCAVATE' THE POND
DURING INITIAL INSTALLATION TO ALLOW FOR SEDIMENT ACCUMULATION. HOWEVER,

CONTROL NOTES:
1. Sediment control devices and structures shall be Installed,
maintained and amended as needed to provide effective
contra of accelerated sedimentation until the contributing
watersheds are stabnlzed.
2. Constriction Seauence:
A. Notify Engineer. Owner and Land Ouallty Section prior
to beginning construction.
S. Install stabilized construction entrance.
C. Set fence shall be Installed at edge of clearing limits on ell
down elope@ prior to initiation of clearing activities.
Silt fence shall be maintained until the area Is stabilized completely.
D. Excavate stormwoter pond and utilize for temporariy sediment storage.
Construct perimeter swals and use as temporary diversion ditch to direct
runoff to storrnwater pond.
E. Commence site grading, Place and compact required! fill materials.
F. Immediately seed, mulch all disturbed areas not to be paved..
G. Maintain erosion control measures as needed to assure

H. Place CABC over compacted subgrode. Install asphalt
surface course.
I. Reseed and mulch shoulders and ditches. Install linere on

EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION
CONTROL NOTES:
1. Sediment control devices and structures shall be Installed,
maintained and amended as needed to provide effective
control of accelerated sedimentation until the contributing
watersheds are stabilized.
2. Construction Sonuence:
A. Notify Engineer, Owner and Land Quality Section prior
to beginning construction.
B. Install stabilized construction entrance.
C. Solt fence shall be Installed at edge of clearing limits an all
down slopes prior to initiation of clearing activities.
Slit fence shall be maintained until the area Is stabilized completely.
D. Excavate stormwater pond and utilize for temporarly sediment storage.
Constructs permater morals and use as temporary diversion ditch to direct
runoff to stornwater pond.
E. Commence sib grading, Place and compact required IN materials.
F. Immediately seed, mulch all disturbed areas not to be paved..
G. Maintain erosion control measures as needed to assure
full NnctionoblAlty.
GH Place CABC over compacted subgrade. Install asphalt
surface course.
H. Reseed and mulch shoulders and ditches. Install liners on
all wades (and provide ground cover an all exposed elopes.)
