Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with Condition 11.6 of the above referenced permit we are submitting our annual
report of maintenance and inspection records for our rainwater collection system.
Additionally, with this letter we are informing you that as of October 2021, Jason Fisher has
assumed the role of Site Director of the Kings Mountain facility, replacing Chris Danauskas who
was previously in that role.
Operation and Inspection
During 2021, both rainwater collection areas were inspected semiannually (3/29 and 10/12) by
the site Environmental Manager. Ponds were observed to function normally with no operational
issues noted, except that some erosion on the rock wall on Pond #1 was observed during the
2H 2O21 inspection; a work order was written to repair the erosion. As of the end of the year the
work was planned but not completed.
Maintenance Activities
During 2021, normal maintenance including mowing the slopes and filter strips occurred, as part
of our normal groundskeeping activities.
In February 2021, work to repair a small (approximately 1 foot in diameter) sinkhole in Pond #1
noted in the 2H 2O20 inspection noted in Pond #1, was completed. No other instances occurred
where revegetation was required, or significant erosion or other issues that required repair.
