The developers are also work in adding some additional areas. It is probably best to withdraw the current submittal so that we can submit as a whole project once some of the unknowns are figured out. Please let me know if you need anything else from me for the withdrawal. Thanks. Jon D. We have been authorized by the developer to complete the remaining phases, which will allow us to address the stormwater for the project as a whole, instead of phase by phase. However, that has pushed out our resubmittal time. Can we hold this one for a couple of months while we complete the remaining phases design? Thanks. Jon D. This form is similar to the one that we provided a link to in the Request for Additional Information Letter, but with some noted improvements. When filling out the form, select “State Stormwater (Post-Construction) Permit” under “What type of Permit?”, enter the Permit Number (SW#######), and select “Central Office” under “What DEQ Office is the Primary Contact?”. When uploading files, you will need to select the appropriate file type from the dropdown list that best describes the file to be uploaded. You may note that there is not a “Plan Set” file type. One of the reasons for this is that there is a limit to the file size that can be uploaded through this portal, occasionally large files do not upload properly or at all. Another reason for this is that certain plan sheets (such as utility plans, lighting plans, roadway marking plans, etc.) are often included in uploads, but are not needed for us to complete our reviews and end up taking up space in the electronic permit file. It is therefore recommended to break out the individual sheets or groups of similar sheets and upload them under the provided file types. One of the major benefits of using these pre-defined file types is that once the files get uploaded to the Laserfiche Repository (accessible at the following address: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/WaterResources/Browse.aspx?id=265693&repo=WaterResources&cr=1 under “SW Permits”), the files will automatically be renamed based on the file type selected, allowing anyone viewing the electronic files to quickly determine what is in a file without having to open it (some engineers do a good job labeling their files and others don’t. Either way, this system standardizes the file names and helps eliminate ambiguity). Let me know if you have any questions about this new form. 7 Thanks, -Jim From: Farkas, Jim J Sent: Friday, April 23, 2021 10:15 AM To: Jon Frazier <jfrazier@flmengineering.com> Cc: Valentine, Thad <thad.valentine@ncdenr.gov> Subject: SW5210302 - Green Hill Subdivision - Phase 1 Good Morning, The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater Management Permit Application th for the subject project on March 15, 2021.
