or a mulch anchoring tool. A disk with blades set nearly straight can bo
used as a mulch anchoring tool.
Maintenance
Refertilize if growth is not fully adequate. Reseed: refertilize and mulch
immediately following erosion or other damage.
EROSION & SEDIMENT CONTROL
MAINTENANCE PLAN
1. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL PRACTICES WILL BE
CHECKED FOR STABILITY AND OPERATION FOLLOWING EVERY RUNOFF -
PRODUCING RAINFALL BUT IN NO CASE LESS THAN ONCE EVERY WEEK.
ANY NEEDED REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO MAINTAIN ALL
PRACTICES AS DESIGNED.
2. SEDIMENT WILL BE REMOVED FROM BEHIND THE SILT FENCE WHEN
IT BECOMES ABOUT 0.5 FT DEEP AT THE FENCE. THE SEDIMENT FENCE
WILL BE REPAIRED AS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN A BARRIER.
3. CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE WILL BE RAILED REGULARLY
SO AS TO PREVENT CONSOLIDATION OF THE STONE. THE STONE
SHALL ALWAYS BE UNCONSOLIDATED TO ALLOW FREE ROTATION
OF TIRES.
4. ALL SEEDED AREAS WILL BE FERTILIZED, RESEEDED AS NECESSARY,
AND MULCHED ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS IN THE VEGETATIVE
PLAN TO MAINTAIN A VIGOROUS, DENSE VEGETATIVE COVER.

1. All development shall be in accordance with
the New Hanover County Zoning Ordinance
& Subdivision Regulations.
2. A Homeowners' Association will be established.
All common areas, utilities and roadways will be
the responsibility of, and maintained by the
Association.
3. Water service to be connected to the City of Wilmington public
system. A 16" public main runs across the tract frontage.
A public main will be looped through the project for service
connections to each building. A 20' public utility easement will
cover the main, fire hydrants and service meters.
4. Sanitary sewer service to be connected to the New Hanover
County public system. An 8" public main will be extended
from the project through utility easements.
5. Stormwtater management design to meet both State
and County regulations by use of a detention pond.
S. All utility services, such as electric power, CATV,
