HomeMy WebLinkAboutNCC210825_Info RE Company Name Change to SOLV Energy_20220131Georgoulias, Bethany From: Georgoulias, Bethany Sent: Monday, January 31, 2022 10:19 AM To: Taylor Welby Cc: Marisa Dauber Subject: RE: [External] RE: Construction SW Modification Request Received - Leg Resp Update Thanks for the follow-up explanation, Taylor. I'll work on the remaining legally responsible individual updates today. We do not have a way to update permittee names for Construction Stormwater COCs. (In fact, when there is a modification, our system only provides a confirmation email — not a new COC.) We just don't have that ability right now. All the records are accessible in our repository, and that is how the changes are referenced. What I will do is save this correspondence documenting the company name change for these COCs that I will do contact updates have been submitted for. You are also welcome to provide any other documents you think should be available for those permits if a question arises in the future; they can be uploaded through the Modification form, or I can store them in one folder and create a short-cut reference to the others. The only other solution is to obtain new COCs for all the affected projects, which probably isn't ideal if there are several. This is a limitation of our system that we could remedy with more development, but the Department plans to transition to a centralized on-line permitting system in the near future, and so we have not modified our process to update permittee organization names or do ownership transfers. Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Hi Bethany, Dave passed along your email. Thank you for reaching out to us. That is correct. Our company name has changed to SOLV Energy which is why we were looking to modify the permits for our project's in your state. We were hoping you could provide some guidance on the process for a COC if that is needed in addition to the modification request we sent in. Thank you in advance for your help, it is much appreciated. I began with this one because it is due to be invoiced next month. I noticed that the original COC was issued to "Swinerton Builders, A Corporation". Has the project been sold, or did the name just change to Solve Energy? We can update contacts (I see you already listed here, but the email and mailing address needs revision), but we will not be able to update the company name associated with the permit record. A new COC would need to be issued to reflect a new name, just fyi.
