("Marine Max") — Wrightsville Beach facility, enclosed please find a Representative Outfall Status (ROS) request form for the above referenced permitted facility. The facility in question is boat sale and service facility, covered by the NCG190000 Marina General Permit for Stormwater Discharges, and which physically has 3 outfalls. One of them (001) receives most of the runoff from the facility as well as most of the runoff from the industrial areas of the site (boat washing, maintenance, etc.). The second outfall, outfall 002 receives drainage from much less of the property and includes little industrial activity. The third outfall, outfall 003, is located along a paved public roadway (within the public right-of-way), receives little to no runoff from industrial area, and receives a considerable volume of roadway and offsite runoff (i.e., is not truly representative of the subject property). I would herein like to request that outfall 001 be considered the ROS for outfalls 002 and 003. Recent stormwater sampling for all three outfalls has confirmed that stormwater monitoring results are similar for all outfalls (or contain lower contaminant levels at outfalls 002 and 003). Enclosed are the following: • Completed request form; • Two copies of site map; and, • Summary of stormwater results. Environmental Compliance & Due Diligence Services Please advise should you have any questions or require any additional information regarding this request. Thank you in advance. DER/dr Encls.
