As CEO, he is responsible for the strategic vision and direction of Wilmington Health. Prior to joining the group, he was the Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer for Christie Clinic in Champaign, Illinois, and Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at the Shannon Clinic in San Angelo, Texas. ?U_C CHRIS BUNCH _CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER With more than 10 years of public accounting experience, Chris joined Wilmington Health in 2007 as our Chief Financial Officer. In 2012, he was named Chief operating Officer. Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in History. He attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, achieving a Master of Science in Accountancy in June 1998. CHASITY CHACE - CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Chasity joined Wilmington Health in 2009. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees the accounting, purchasing, biomedical, and business office functions. Before joining Wilmington Health, Chasity was the Audit Manager for McGladrey & Pullen LLP. Chasity graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. DR. MICHAEL MCWILLIAMS - BOARD PRESIDENT Dr. McWilliams attended medical school at Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Osler Medical Training Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. McWilliams completed his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at The Cleveland Clinic and served two years as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. McWilliams is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2007), Cardiovascular Disease (2005), and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (2007). DR. )ONATHAN HINES - CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER Dr. Hines joined the Wilmington Health Internal Medicine team in 1997 and became the organization's Chief Medical Officer in 2012. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and completed residency training there in 1997. "'. He maintains board certification in Internal Medicine. As CMO, Dr. Hines has overseen the development of programs to track and improve quality, cost, and the patient experience at Wilmington Health, and conducts oversight of providers and planning for all new clinical services for the group. DR. BRIAN WEBSTER - CHIEF MEDICAL INFORMATION OFFICER Dr. Webster received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill in 1993. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Ohio State in 1996 and joined Wilmington Health. Dr. Webster is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been the chief medical information officer in charge of helping providers in the organization implement and efficiently use electronic medical records since 2011. DR. DAVID SCHULTZ - ASSOCIATE CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER Dr. Schultz received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his internship at Naval Hospital Oakland in 1994, and his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco in 1996. He was an internist at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune until completing service in the Navy and joining Wilmington Health in 2000 as an original member of the Hospitalist department. Dr. Schultz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and joined Dr. Hines in 2017 to share chief medical officer duties for the group. MELISSA ODOM, CMPE- COO, PHYSICIANS HEALTHCARE COLLABORATIVE With more than 15 years of practice operation experience, Melissa joined Wilmington Health in 2015 as our Director of Strategic Innovations. In 2019, she was named Chief Operating Officer, Physicians Healthcare Collaborative, Wilmington Health's Accountable Care Organization. Melissa graduated from Meredith College in May 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is also a certified Medical Practice Executive per MGMA. Melissa is actively involved as a local mentor with WILMA's Women to Watch initiative and serves on several local non-profit Boards. Melissa is actively involved at Wilmington Health in leading our Patient Experience, Professional Development and Value Based Care initiatives. SUIY KEARNS, CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER Suzy joined Wilmington Health in 2014. As Chief Compliance Officer, she oversees the Corporate Compliance and Privacy functions. Before joining Wilmington Health, Suzy was a Financial Reporting Manager for PPD, Inc. Suzy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. A preliminary in-depth review of that information has determined that the application is not complete and that additional information is needed. To continue the review, please provide the following additional information in a single, hard copv submittal package: 15A NCAC 02H.1040(l)(a) and .1042(2)(b)(ii) : The application was signed by Chris Bunch; however the provided documentation from the NC Secretary of State does not identify Mr. Bunch as a member or manager of this LLC. In the case of a limited liability corporation (LLC), the application must be signed by a manager or company official as defined in GS 57D. Please either: a. Provide official documentation showing that Mr. Bunch is a Member or Manager and authorized to sign for the LLC; b. Have one of the identified members of the LLC sign the application documents; or c. The signature by other agents shall be accepted on the application only if accompanied by a letter of authorization signed by the appropriate authority. Your current permit does expire on January 2, 2022 and the permit renewal applications are due 180 days before the expiration date.
