A current Site Map from the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. The location of industrial activities (including storage of materials, disposal areas, process areas and loading and unloading areas), drainage structures, drainage areas for each outfall, building locations and impervious surfaces should be clearly noted. 2. A summary of Analytical Monitoring results during the term of the existing permit (if your permit required analytical sampling). Do not submit individual lab reports. The summary can consist of a table including such items as outfall number, parameters sampled, lab results, date sampled, and storm event data. H 3. A summary of the Visual Monitoring results. Do not submit individual monitoring reports. The summary can consist of a table including such items as outfall number, parameters surveyed, observations, and date monitoring conducted. 4. A summary of the Best Management Practices utilized at the permitted facility. Summary should consist of a short narrative description of each BMP's in place at the facility. NPDES Permit # NCS000163 Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Best Management Practices: All process area stormwater is discharged onto grassy areas. All stormwater from the Color Mate facility ultimately is being collected on the northeast corner of the site by a drainage ditch running alongside Pearson Turnpike. The loading/unloading dock area has a concrete floor, and is diked and bermed with a sump to collect stormwater or spills. Any spill in the containment is collected promptly for disposal or reuse. Any stormwater is inspected for contamination, before discharge into the ditch. Any time a'loading or unloading operation is being conducted an operator trained in stormwater pollution control practices mans it during the entire process. The dumpster is kept closed except when material is being added or when it is being collected. The docks are swept routinely to control dust. Any equipment or material is cleaned before moving outside. There are no bulk chemical storage tanks located outdoors. There is one wastewater recovery tank and one tank for loading tank trucks located inside the plant. The plant is contained by a trench drain system to collect leaks and spills, which is then pumped into the wastewater storage tank. All tanks, pumps and lines are inspected routinely for leaks and repaired as required. Any spill, either inside or outside is cleaned in a timely manner before it can spread or be allowed to contaminate stormwater. Color Mate, Inc. All production operations are still conducted inside. All raw material storage is still inside.
