At the time of inspection, most of the issues listed in the previous inspection report had been addressed, with the exception of the entrance to the access road between SDO 04 and SDO 02, and the stabilization of the sediment basin upstream of SDO 03. The entrance between SDO 04 and SDO 02 was still covered in sediment. Silt fencing had been installed across the road behind the guard rail to attempt to prevent any of that sediment from entering the stream below the guardrail, and crusher rur had been installed at the said entrance. These measures are temporary only. It is recommended that stone be put in place on the entrance instead of the crusher run, and this entrance cleaned daily until a permanent solution has been found. The earthen berm against the guard rail should also be seeded and stabilized. The sediment basin upstream of SDO 03 had been seeded, but a majority of the basin still did not have adequate ground cover. This basin should be reseeded until the ground has reached 80% stabilization or more. Please address the above issues within 45-days of receipt of this report: a follow-up inspection will need to be conducted. If the above issues are fixed before the 45-day period, please contact us for an inspection. Furthermore, please continue to maintain all stormwater devices and outfalls, and monitor the outfalls as specified by the current permit. Copies of each monitoring report are to be kept on file at a minimum of 5 years prior to the current monitoring report.
