Spring Lake Ray Road Dollar General Storm Water (Narrative
The site is currently wooded. The site is being developed as a new Dollar General store.
The site drains from the north to the south.
The proposed development includes a 9,100 sf store with the associated parking. Storm
water will be collected in a drop inlet within the parking lot and through a roof drainage
system. Storm water will then be conveyed through an underground drainage system
into a new on -site wet pond located at the southern end of the site. The wet pond is
designed to mitigate the peak runoff for the 1 yr and 10 yr storm events. This basin has
been designed in accordance with the latest NCDEQ Stormwater Design Manual.
