Dear Ms. Deaton,
On January 21, 2021 the City of Greensboro Stormwater Management Division completed an industrial compliance inspection
of White Street Landfill. Local regulations permit an inspection of industrial facilities under authority granted by City of
Greensboro Code of Ordinance Chapter 30, Article 12, Section 7.1 (C-5). This inspection consisted of two parts: a review of the
facility files/records and an on -site facility inspection.
The inspection was performed by Elea Reyna Ocampo. The following deficiencies/observations were noted during the
inspection.
Storm water Pollution Prevention Plan/Spill Plan Review
➢ The NPDES Landfill permit does not require a SWPPP plan. However, other activities that fall under the
Compost and Vehicle Maintenance Permit do require a SWPPP plan. This inspection did not review the S&E
plan.
Site Inspection
Preventative Maintenance/Good Housekeeping
➢ No deficiencies observed.
Non-Stormwater Discharges
➢ No deficiencies observed.
