The existing site is wooded. Proposed development on the site will consist of the construction of single-family dwelling units, along with the associated public roads, sidewalks, utility improvements, and stormwater control measures. In the permanent conditions this site will ultimately drain to (2) permanent stormwater control measures which will provide the required detention and treatment for the stormwater runoff. Storm sewer is proposed as part of the on -site drainage as well as cross road drainage pipes. The proposed development is located within the Yadkin River basin with stormwater runoff from the proposed development draining into Meadow Branch & Austin Branch in the Richardson Creek Watershed. Per Town of Wingate regulations, stormwater management on this site shall meet the stormwater management performance standards for development set forth in the Town of Wingate Land Ordinance & NCDEQ MDC. SUMMARY OF STORM DRAINAGE REPORT The following report analyzes the storm systems for the proposed development & roadway improvements to Ansonville Road. The proposed drainage systems were modeled using the rational formula to determine the runoff to each inlet with an assumed time of concentration for each structure of 5 minutes (providing the most conservative design). The systems were analyzed using Hydraflow Storm Sewers (2019). The conclusion of this analysis is that the storm systems will provide adequate runoff capacity during periods of peak rainfall. The 10-year storm was modeled to determine the required drainage pipe sizes for the on -site stormsewer. The 25 year storm was modeled to determine the required cross road drainage pipe sizes for the storm sewer off -site on Ansonville Road.
