BORROW MATERIAL: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH BORROW MATERIAL REQUIRED FROM OFF SITE AND OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH BORROW OPERATIONS. 8. FILL AND COMPACTION. AFTER STRIPPING THOSE AREAS DESIGNATED TO RECEIVE FILL SHOULD BE PROOFROLLED. THE TOP 8" OF SUBGRADE SHALL BE COMPACTED TO AT LEAST 98% OF MAXIMUM DENSITY AT OPTIMUM MOISTURE CONTENT.
