No fertilization is to be used after the initial planting. the landscape contractor is responsible for determining soil characteristics and needed fertilizer opplicction. 4. Construction segpencing should be carefully planned to allow plantings to be installed and the wetlands brought online within 14 days after the completion of grading activities. 5. Should planting be delayed, a temporary wetland seed mix may be planted to stabilize all disturbed soils. 6. If the structure is brought online prior to planting, a portable pump should be used to pump water down 3 days prior to plant delivery/instal tat ion. 7. Inlet and outlet devices should be protected from scour that may occur during heavy rain events. 8. The wetland should be staked accordingly to allow for proper grades as shown on the plan. 9, The optimal planting period is from early April through mid June. Plantings may also be installed in early fall depending on the variety. 10. Overflow pipe to be SC114.40 PVC with watertight ,joints. il. Installation contractor is responsible for all watering, pruning, fertilizing, remulching, and straightening of all plant material for 6 months from date of acceptance.
