SEDIMENTATION OPERATION $ MAINTENANCE NOTES:
1. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES WILL BE
CHECKED FOR STABILITY AND OPERATION FOLLOWING EVERY
RUNOFF -PRODUCING RAINFALL BUT IN NO CASE LESS THAN ONCE
EVERY WEEK. ANY NEEDED REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO
MAINTAIN ALL PRACTICES AS DESIGNED.
2. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE WILL BE INSPECTED
WEEKLY IN ORDER TO KEEP SEDIMENT FROM BEING TRANSPORTED
OFFSITE.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT AND MAINTAIN WET POND / SEDIMENT
BASIN AT NO LESS THAN 75% OF ITS INITIAL VOLUME. ACCUMULATED
SILTS TO BE REMOVED AND DESIGN VOLUME RESTORED, ACCORDINGLY.
SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION:
1. PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE TO BE HELD PRIOR TO BEGINNING.
2. DETERMINE AND MARK LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE.
3. INSTALL GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES.
4. CONSTRUCTION OF TEMP. SEDIMENT BASINS AND ROCK DAMS.
5. TOPSOIL REMOVAL AND/OR STORAGE.
6. INSPECT AND MAINTAIN ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES EVERY 7 DAYS
AND AFTER EACH SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL EVENT (0.5" OR GREATER).
7. PLACE TEMPORARY SEEDING ON ANY DISTURBED AREAS THAT ARE TO
BE LEFT IDLE FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS.
8. PERMANENT GRASS SHALL BE INSTALLED FOR ALL AREAS AT FINAL
GRADE AND IN SEASON. FERTILIZE, WATER AND RESEED AS REQUIRED
TO ESTABLISH A VIGOROUS STAND OF GRASS.
G. AFTER COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION AND THE SITE IS STABILIZED,
REMOVE ALL ACCUMULATED SEDIMENT FROM TRAPPING DEVICES AND
SPREAD EVENLY ACROSS THE SITE. GRASS THESE AREAS
IMMEDIATELY AND REMOVE ALL TEMPORARY TRAPPING DEVICES.

SEDIMENTATION OPERATION t MAINTENANCE NOTES:
I. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES WILL BE
CHEC<ED FOR 51"ABILITY AND OPERATION FOLLOWING EVERY
RUNOFF -PRODUCING RAINFALL BUT IN NO CASE LESS THAN ONCE
EVERY WEEK. ANY NEEDED REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO
MAINTAIN ALL PRACTICES AS DESIGNED.
2. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE WILL BE INSPECTED
WEEKLY IN ORDER TO KEEP SEDIMENT FROM BEING TRANSPORTED
OFFSITE.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT AND MAINTAIN WET POND / SEDIMENT
BASIN AT NO LESS THAN 75% OF ITS INITIAL VOLUME. ACCUMULATED
SILTS TO BE REMOVED AND DESIGN VOLUME RESTORED, ACCORDINGLY.
SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION:
I. PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE TO BE HELD PRIOR TO BEGINNING.
2. DETERMINE AND MARK LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE.
3. INSTALL GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES.
4. CONSTRUCTION OF TEMP. SEDIMENT BASINS AND ROCK DAMS.
5. TOPSOIL REMOVAL AND/OR STORAGE.
6. INSPECT AND MAINTAIN ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES EVERY 7 DAYS
AND AFTER EACH SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL EVENT (0.511 OR GREATER).
7. PLACE TEMPORARY SEEDING ON ANY DISTURBED AREAS THAT ARE TO
BE LEFT IDLE FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS.
8. PERMANENT GRASS SHALL BE INSTALLED FOR ALL AREAS AT FINAL
GRADE AND IN SEASON. FERTILIZE, WATER AND RESEED AS REQUIRED
TO ESTABLISH A VIGOROUS STAND OF GRASS.
9. AFTER COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION AND THE SITE 15 STABILIZED,
REMOVE ALL ACCUMULATED SEDIMENT FROM TRAPPING DEVICES AND
SPREAD EVENLY ACROSS THE SITE. GRASS THESE AREAS
IMMEDIATELY AND REMOVE ALL TEMPORARY TRAPPING DEVICES.
