I did not provide an emergency spillway since the principal spillway was designed to accept the design flow rates, however having an emergency spillway is a good idea in the event of some unforeseen clog. I would propose a 20-foot wide spillway located behind the forebay (this area is in cut) and provide Class B rip rap. I will place the elevation of the spillway at elevation 141.70 (25-year storm elevation is 141.68). Please advise if this would be acceptable. Thanks again for your help with this matter.
