Cargill, Incorporated, Fayetteville, NC — Stormwater Discharge Permit NCG060047 January 2020 Monitoring - Analytical Results In accordance with the Cargill, Fayetteville facility's Stormwater Discharge Permit NCG060000, fart III, Section E, Cargill is submitting a Discharge Monitoring Report for monitoring conducted in January of 2020. Analytical monitoring results showed that COD and TSS exceeded the benchmark value for Outfall FV006. A Tier III Response Notification was submitted in January 2020. Cargill continues to evaluate conditions that may contribute to the benchmark exceedancc. Outfall 006 is located on the discharge of the environmental pit # 1. Recently after January 2020 sampling, temporary sandbags were installed to channel all stormwater runoff in this area to the first compartment of the environmental pit. The objective to this trial is to help eliminate short cycling of Stormwater through the environment pit compartments. We continue to actively pump out the stagnant water to the sanitary sewer and vacuum clean the solids From the environmental pit #1.
