I, Melene Nicholas Gilliam Hatcher, a person designated as a Trustee of the J. Duane Gilliam
Residuary Trust established under the Last Will and Testament of J. Duane Gilliam, late of
Cumberland County, North Carolina, rejected the trusteeship and renounced my nomination to
serve as Trustee on December 6, 2018. 1 have not accepted delivery of Trust property. I have not
participated in decisions as a Trustee. I have not voted on Trust matters.
I reject the trusteeship and renounce my nomination to serve as a Trustee of the J. Duane Gilliam
Residuary Trust.
