April 24, 2020 A test pit was constructed for each bioretention cell to determine if the bottom elevation of each bioretention cell would impact the Seasonal Highwater Table (SHWT). The bottom elevation of the test pit for Bioretention Cell #1 was 2161.00 and the bottom elevation of the test pit for Bioretention Cell #2 was 2149.00. Please see Exhibit 1 for the location of each test pit. Each test pit was allowed to sit for 48 hours. The SHWT was not encountered. Please see the images below and the attached Test Pit Report from Doug Hill. On April 16th they were dug where indicated on his plan to the depth requested. The two pits were left open for 48 hours and no water was observed in the bottom of either hole.
