Dear Mr. Kissel:
It is the understanding of the Division that the subject facility at the Siler City location is no longer
operated by Boling Furniture Company. In accordance with this information, NPDES General Permit
NCG 180150 is rescinded, effectively immediately.
Please be advised that this permit rescission is based wholly upon the activities which would require
general permit coverage at the site have ceased or been eliminated. Division staff has not visited the site
to obtain independent verification. Operating a treatment facility, discharging wastewater or discharging
stormwater to waters of the State without a valid NPDES Permit will subject the responsible party to a
civil penalty of up to $25,000 per day. Enforcement action will be certain for persons that have
voluntarily relinquished permit coverage when, in fact, continuing permit coverage was necessary. If, in
retrospect, you feel the site still requires permit coverage, you should notify this office immediately.
Furthermore, if in the future you wish to again discharge to the State's surface waters, you must first
apply for and receive a new NPDES Permit.

1/ Rescind Permit NCG180150. Boling Furniture Co. No longer occupies the
premises at 108 W Third St, Siler City. We do not own the real estate and the
buildings are not in use.
2/ Renew Permit NCG180151 with corrections indicated on the attached
application form.
3/ Accept our enclosed check # 14255 for $80.00 in payment of the renewal of
Permit NCG180151.
Boling Furniture Company is operating a Wooden Office Furniture Manufacturing
company at the plant in Mount Olive.
We regret any delays that were caused due to the incorrect and obsolete
company names, obsolete contacts and unoccupied premises.

Dear Mr. Schuster,
This is a follow up to our telephone conversation of this morning per your request.
We are the "Boling Furniture Company". In 1998, "The Boling Co." sold it's business, u
included land and buildings located at 108 West P Street in Siler City and 311 NE Church A
Mount Olive, along with assets and liabilities (including pensions) to "The Boling Group, LL
"The Boling Group, LLC" went bankrupt in 2001. After a reorganization, continued to r
business through it's fling for bankruptcy, under Chapter 11. in the Middle District in North
Greensboro under petition #01-81304, May 7, 2001, "The Boling Group" operated as a "Del
Possession" while looking for a buyer. In August 2001, two companies cattle forward:
1.) A company purchased the land and buikliogs located at 311 NE Church Road
Mount Olive.
2.) Boling Furniture Company purchased some of the assets, which included all of the i
machinery, equipment, and fixtures and receivables from the "D.I.P". August 17, 2001 was t
of `The Boling Group, LLC" operations and all of the employees were terminated.
Boling Furniture Company began operations on August 20, 2001. It hired many of
employees of the "D.I_P.". Boling Furniture Company reorganized the company by:
1.) Ceasing operations at the 108 West 3'd Street , Siler City location.
2.) Leasing the plant at 311 NE Church Road, Mount Olive, from its new owners.
3.) Boling Furniture Company moved all of the machinery, equipment, inventory,
furniture, and fixtures from Siler City to the rented location at 311 NE Church
Road, Mount Olive, to begin operation of the Boling Furniture Company.
Dalcs Hiser was employed by The Boling Group from early 2001 and then by Boling Furnitw
Company from 9/2001 thru 6/2002. I John P, Kissel then took over Dale's duties. Boling F,
Company is operating an office furniture manufacturing business at the plant it rents in Mow

In accordance with your application for discharge permit received on April 10, 1995, we are forwarding
herewith the subject certificate of coverage to discharge under the subject state - NPDES general permit. This
permit is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143-215 .1 and the
Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the US Environmental Protection agency dated
December 6, 1983.
If any pans, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit are
unacceptable to you, you have the right to request an individual permit by submitting an individual permit
application. Unless such demand is made, this certificate of coverage shall be final and binding.
Please take notice that this certificate of coverage is not transferable except after notice to the Division
of Environmental Management. The Division of Environmental Management may require modification or
revocation and reissuance of the certificate of coverage.
This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the
Division of Environmental Management or permits required by the Division of Land Resources, Coastal

This Certificate of Coverage shall become effective May 12, 1995.
This Certificate of Coverage shall remain in effect for the duration of the General Permit.
