Sullins Director February 16, 2009 Dee Freeman Secretary Subject: NPDES Compliance Evaluation Inspection NPDES Permit COC 4NCG190019 and NCG 190080 New Hanover County A compliance evaluation inspection of the Crockers Marine Incorporated facility was conducted on February 11, 2009. This inspection was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the requirements specified in the NPDES General Permit (certificate of coverage NCG 190080 and NCG190019). The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report" The Storniwater Pollution Prevention Plans for both sites were reviewed. The Stonnwater Pollution Prevention Plan appears to be complete. I was advised that the activities at the site located on Eastwood Road had been moved to the site located in Castle Hayne. The permit NCG 190009 is currently an active permit. Please forward a copy of the rescission request letter that was sent to the central office to the Wilmington Regional Office (attn: Linda Willis, 127 Cardinal Drive Extension, Wilmington NC 28405). 1 will facilitate the rescission request with the central office. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan was complete and the stornnwater monitoring from the Castle Hayne site appears to be compliant with the requirements of the NDPES pennit.
