Everything looks good except for a few small issues: Please correct the following: - Please upload electronic copies of all of the hard copy permit files for this project at the following address (h?ps://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload) as indicated in the 8/3/23 email. Electronic files are required per 15A NCAC 02H .1045(3). - For a low-density project that drains to two separate recieving waters, the drainage areas corespond to the por?on of the project area that drains to the receiving water. For this project, the two draiange areas would be the por?on of the project area that eventually drains to the French Broad River and the por?on of the project area that draians to McDowell Creek (see a?ached). Please revise the following: o Applica?on, Sec?on IV, 10:  Please revise the Total Draiange Area and On-Site Draiange Area values to reflect the por?on of the project area that drains to the receiving surface waters. The Total Draiange Area and On-Site Draiange Area values in each column will be the same and the sum of the Total Draiange Area values for each column will add up to the project area (9.94 ac/432,891 sf).  Please revise the Proposed Impervious Area and impervious area breakdown (lower por?on of the table) to reflect the BUA that is located within por?on of the project area that drains to the receiving surface waters. The sum of the Proposed Impervious Area values for each column will add up to the total BUA for the project (0.53 ac/22,984 sf).  Please recalculate the % Impervious Area for each por?on of the project area that drains to the receiving surface waters. o Supplement-EZ Form, Draiange Area Page, LD Draiange Areas:  Similar to the Applica?on comments above, the low-density draiange areas should refer to the por?on of the project area that drains to the receiving surface waters, not the draiange area to the vegetated conveyances (Vegetated conveyance draiange areas are included on the Low- Density Page). Please provide the following: - NOTE: If the electronic files can be provided by close of business on Friday, 9/8/23, we may be able to issue the permit without any special condi?ons (I can’t say for sure at this ?me as I am wai?ng on the results of the site inspec?on from the Asheville Regional Office). If the electronic files are not received by close of business on Friday, 9/8/23, the permit will contain special condi?ons indica?ng that the above items need to be addressed (in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .1044(6)) - 1x electronic copy of the submi?al items. - 1x hard copy & 1x electronic copy of the revised page of the Applica?on Form. - 1x hard copy & 1x electronic copy of the revised page of the Supplement-EZ Form. Hard copies should be mailed to me at the following address: For FedEx/UPS: 1 Jim Farkas 512 N. Salisbury Street, Office 640M Raleigh, NC 27604 For USPS: Jim Farkas 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 Hand Delivery: Please reach out to me prior to hand delivering a submission to make sure that I (or someone else in my group) will be able to receive the submission. Do not leave the package in the foyer with the security guard. NOTE: Hard copies should not be sent to a Regional Office. Doing so will delay the review process and the submission package may be lost while being sent from the Regional Office to me in the Central Office. Electronic copies should be uploaded at the following loca?on: h?ps://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload Let me know if you have any ques?ons. Reviews under the Final Fast Track process can take up to 45 calendar days to complete. You can see where this project stands in the review queue by emailing Jim Farkas (He has an autoreply set up that has the review queue on it). Please upload all documents that you mailed into our office through the link provided below. Be sure to choose the Central Office as the Primary Contact office. h?ps://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload 2 IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that each file is uploaded under its appropriate file type. Addi?onal file types can be entered into the electronic form by clicking on the “Add Another Post-Construc?on File Upload” link directly below the “State Stormwater Informa?on Uploads” sec?on of the form. YOU MUST CLICK ON THE “ADD ANOTHER POST- CONSTRUCTION FILE UPLOAD” TO ADD ADDITIONAL FILE TYPES TO THE SUBMISSION. Merely changing the file type dropdown as you upload the various files (without adding addi?onal file uploads) will upload all of the files as the last file type selected, the submission will get flagged during review, and you will need to resubmit the files. Please do not upload en?re plan sets through this form, but rather upload the relevant individual sheets under the appropriate file type. Selec?ng the correct file type ensures that the files are properly named in the electronic repository and it helps expedite the review process. NOTE: We do not require and we discourage the upload/submission of extraneous plan sheets (such as ligh?ng plans, u?lity plans, striping plans, sight distance plans, etc…) as these files are not needed for review. Please type in permit #: SW1230801 This project will be reviewed by Brianna Holland, if you have any ques?ons, please contact them at Brianna.holland@deq.nc.gov or at 919-707-9218. This project will be reviewed by Jim Farkas, if you have any ques?ons, please contact them at jim.farkas@deq.nc.gov or at 919-707-3646.
